What are “Local Number Supported” countries?

At present, we are able to provide private local numbers for 7 countries and we refer to these 7 countries as “Local Number Supported” countries. They are US, Canada, UK, Australia, Brazil, Poland and China.

What are “Global Outbound” countries?

Users from over 150+ countries will be able to use Textnock to send SMS in bulk to their target audience. However, we are only able to offer private local numbers for only 7 of these countries.
The rest of the countries will be able to send SMS using Textnock’s “Global Outbound” feature, which allows users from non-Local Number Supported countries to send SMS through a custom Sender ID or Alphanumeric ID.

Are there any charges associated with providing private local numbers?

In Textnock, we express your outstanding balance in terms of Credits. For US, Canada and UK, there are no Credit charges for the issuance of private local numbers.
For Australia, Brazil and Poland, there is a one-off charge of 500 credits will be deducted and a monthly recurring charge of 500 credits will be deducted from the 2nd month onward.
For China, the one-off charge is 2250 credits and the monthly recurring charge is 2250.

Now, I would like to address few questions that is puzzling the Sumo-lings.

Q1: What is “Global Outbound” feature?

If you select a Country that does not provide a Local Number in Textnock, then the only option you can use to send SMS is our “Global Outbound” feature.

Q2: How is “Global Outbound” different from the normal “Create Campaign” feature?

Well Sumo-lings, “Create Campaign” is only available when your account has a LocalNumber. But if you don’t, no need to worry. Because “Global Outbound” performs the exact same function as “Create Campaign” with one minor addition. You will be required to input a Sender ID or Alphanumeric ID.

Q3: What is “Alphanumeric ID” or “Sender ID”?

We all get marketing texts from time to time and for some of them you will notice the Sender information is an Alphanumeric Text instead of a mobile phone number. That Alphanumeric Text is the “Alphanumeric ID” or “Sender ID”. And yes, you will be able to send SMS to all the countries that allow to receive SMS via Alphanumeric ID as indicated here (https://textnock.com/global-outbound-supported-countries).

Some countries like US, Canada, India, South Africa, etc. does not allow Alphanumeric ID. Please check the link above to make sure that the Countries you are sending texts to using Global Outbound feature to avoid failure of SMS delivery.Looking forward to another day of interacting with you all. Try it and support them!

The only hesitation I had with this company and the purchase is the fact that they did not have their ducks in a row with the DNC and TCPA in the US…This seems to be a pretty novice mistake considering their business. However, their product does work…It works really well. I hope that they stick around. Again, that is my only hesitation with such a new start up, is that they most likely very intelligent developers that will want to go on to the next thing in 2 or 3 years. With that said, who knows if this way of communication will be the best vehicle for our business. Totally worth one code, I possibly will invest more in them.

Great Deal – Definitely Worth the Lower Cost

It’s nice to see some of the newer tools offering products at more approachable entry points.

After some initial confusion about credits, I jumped anyway, and I am happy with this tool so far. For my use case: US-to-US texts, I only used 1 credit per text sent, so 2,500 texts.

I actually like that this tool doesn’t have thousands of options or confusing integrations. It just simply works, and my trainee can operate it with virtually no tech skills. I’m thinking about using this for local sign-ups in physical stores, so this tool fits that niche perfectly.

There are a few formatting glitches in the panel, but the functionality is there, the delivery is quick, and my assigned area code is Chicago, if that helps anyone.

Good deal, need to improve on Zapier and personalize SMS

I tried and tested for over 5 hours, and finally I bought one.
The LTD is good and worthy, because I used to send SMS to my client for register confirmation very often.
I hope Textnock can afford the cost for a very long time.

★Need to improve.
★1. Zapier integration is not stable.
I connected my Activecampaign with Textnock via Zapier. 30% will success, and 70% Tecknock lost the data.
(when there is a new contact, AC will pass name and phone to Textnock, and Textnock will send a SMS)
Zapier showed pass data to Textnock successfully, but Textnock does not send SMS.
Hope Textnock can improve it.

I will also send email to support email, and let Textnock to check the root cause.

★2. I need personalize SMS. (for bulk SMS)
Let my client to see his/ her name on the SMS. This is really important and also very common. I now use excel to create custom message with name, and upload excel to Textnock Coupon Code. This take more time to finish the job.
