Introducing Happy Scribe Coupon Code
Trying to transcribe audio and video files by hand means pausing and rewinding (and pausing and rewinding and… you get the picture).
Unless you can type faster than The Flash, you’re dealing with a tedious process that takes forever and also leads to errors.
Fortunately, there’s an automated solution that gives you all of the audience reach and bonus content, with none of the manual work.
Introducing Happy Scribe.
Happy Scribe uses the best speech-to-text technology to automatically and accurately generate transcripts and subtitles in minutes.
Transcribing interviews, webinars, and panels is an awesome way to repurpose content while subtitles help you capture a broader audience by making your content more accessible.
Happy Scribe uses innovative voice-recognition technology to turn your audio recordings into transcripts and add subtitles to your videos.
Simply upload your audio or video file, and Happy Scribe takes care of the rest.
Once your transcript is done, you can download it in a variety of formats, including as a Word document or PDF, to add to your website or share with your team.
SEO is essential to getting the word out about your company and climbing the search rankings—but search engines can’t recognize your audio (yet!).
Thanks to Happy Scribe’s transcripts of your audio and video files, you’ll have searchable text that helps improve your rankings.
Use the simple, easy-to-use Interactive Editor to review and edit your transcripts.
You’ve already invested time and money into creating videos, recording podcasts, and more.
Happy Scribe helps you take your content even further, from transcripts for your podcast to subtitled product demos for social media.
Quickly search your document to find the content you need to add to your blog posts or white papers, and generate quotes from customer testimonials.
Since audiences watch the majority of videos on social media without sound, adding subtitles to all your videos helps increase view time and conversions.
Happy Scribe automatically creates the subtitles—you can review and edit them!
Use Happy Scribe’s unique Interactive Editor to review and edit your subtitles, before you download and publish your content.
The Natural Subtitle Engine creates subtitles that are accurate and readable, so viewers can hear your videos loud and clear—even with the sound off.
Personalize the color, font, and style of your subtitles, so they match your brand personality and the message of your video.
This is an amazing app!! I had already been using Recastly for subtitles, but it didn’t do transcripts, and the interface was clunky. I kind of resisted buying yet another subtitling app, but figured I would at least try it as the demo video looked interesting. And all I can say is… WOW!!!
I had a 6-minute video on YouTube that I had been meaning to transcribe, but hadn’t gotten around to it (and I uploaded it two years ago!). I put the YouTube link into HappyScribe and it uploaded in less than a minute. I clicked the “transcription” button (without having done any customization or adding any vocabulary), and in a few minutes had the complete text. There were a few tweaks (and I don’t blame it for not being able to transcribe my name!), and then I was able to download the transcript in any one of a dozen options, including PDF, TXT, and more.
Once that was done, I noticed the option to “convert to subtitles.” Sure! And because I had already made my corrections in the transcript, the subtitles were error-free. And now I have my video with burned-in subtitles, and a PDF transcript! And this was, quite literally, just about ten minutes after I redeemed my AppSumo code.
This is going to be incredibly handy when I launch my podcast later this year. I only sprang for one code as I don’t do much more than maybe an hour of video a month, but I might also go nuts and start captioning every video I’ve ever taken on my phone!!
Another great deal!
It took me less than 5 minutes to get set up and add flawless (95%) subtitles to my videos!!!
Pros:
– Quick to set up
– Super simple
– Great quality and precision
Cons and request to the Happy Scribe team:
– 2 hours is too little at $69. Please consider being a bit more generous.
– It would be awesome, if automatic translations is possible. Eg: I add a video in English language and I could get the subtitles in multiple languages such as English, French etc.
– It would be great if you allow for individual subtitled words to be emphasized (in a different color, font or underlined)
Excellent accuracy and features 🌮 🌮 🌮 🌮 🌮

Subtitles promote cognitive ease for the audience, they love it!
Seems very promising matured app with a lot of potential.
I was using Otter for periodic transcriptions. But the subtitle generation is a premium feature with Otter. Initially when this tool dropped on AppSumo, they were offering one-off hours credits, but now monthly hours!
So, these two reasons I bought Happy Scribe.
Pleasantly surprised seeing the accuracy.
For excellent accuracy you need to select the right country accent and also set the right answers for some questions it asks prior starting the process.
Pros
👍 Text transcription + subtitle generation + translation (shortly) in one
👍 Custom vocabulary feature!
👍 Good UI/UX – matured tool!
👍 Good punctuations and timings
👍 Great options to import video from various sources – like device, YouTube, Dropbox, Google Drive, Vimeo, Wistia, and even public URL)
👍 Actively developed with a good track record and roadmap
👍 Multi-speaker support
👍 119+ languages!
👍 Clever options to further enhance accuracy like it asks if there is background noise, clear accent, overtalk, etc.
👍 Inline comments support for collaboration
👍 Automatically rewind a few seconds when playback is paused while editing the transcription!
👍 Playback speed control for quicker proofread
👍 They’re coming up with multi-language translation in a couple of weeks (hope the translations are not counted towards the time limit)
Cons
👎 2 hours per month to start with seems pretty low depending upon your usecase – but you can stack. As you stack, the value for money diminishes as you are betting on the future of this tool. As the other person said, if you consider this tool will be around for 3 years (with be obviously more as per my intuition and roadmap – but who knows? Age of disruption) – if you stack 5 codes you pay ~$10/month. So stackers, you need to weigh this tool with Descript and Otter – decide for yourself. Upto 3-4 codes? Go ahead 🙂
Some features they can consider implementing are:
🌟 Audio editing by just editing the transcription (like Descript)
🌟 Vocabulary builder 2.0 which scans our entire blog RSS feed or webpages for words and especially very importantly contexts – this will be huuuuge! 🙂
🌟 Ability to train some words verbally
🌟 Integration with Google Docs? Google’s voice to text punctuation and capitalization sucks.
Finally it’s a great tool, to save a lot of time and money on transcriptions.
Happy Scribe Coupon Code is well-designed and easy to use. Most importantly – the results are as good, if not better than Otter and even Rev! I will be stacking more codes for sure.
